“It is our collective and individual responsibility to preserve and tend to the environment in which we all live.”
-Dalai Lama

At Willowsford, nature is a thriving part of our community — where healthy people and healthy land coexist. We need fresh air, fresh food and healthy habitats around us. We need places to relax and restore. We need places to foster deep connections with nature, agriculture and with each other.

Willowsford Conservancy manages more than 2,000 acres of living systems of woodlands, ponds, streams and meadows; through extensive nature trails; our working farm; and sustainable land stewardship practices.

We think facilitating good experiences is the best way to cultivate lifestyles that have a positive impact on personal and community health, and on the health of land, air, water and wildlife. We do this by restoring and managing a diversity of native habitats; by encouraging wildlife; by maintaining nature trails and green spaces for recreation and contemplation; by growing and selling fresh food; and by offering educational activities to encourage learning, personal responsibility for and engagement with nature.
